19 Glenrich teachers achieve Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert Certification

[Dhaka] Nineteen educators teaching at Glenrich International School’s Satarkul campus are now certified by the prestigious Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (MIEE) program, for the academic year 2024-2025. This achievement highlights Glenrich’s commitment to enhancing student learning through technology-driven education, equipping teachers with the tools and expertise to create more dynamic and collaborative classrooms.

The MIEE certification is awarded to educators who excel in integrating Microsoft technologies into their teaching practices, providing them with the skills to engage students in innovative and interactive ways. By joining a global network of educators who are leading the way in digital learning, Glenrich’s teachers are now better prepared to transform how students learn, collaborate, and solve problems using cutting-edge tools like Microsoft Teams, OneNote, Minecraft Education and Flip (formerly Flipgrid).
Emphasizing the significance of this milestone, Ramesh Mudgal, Principal of Glenrich International School, said, “Our teachers are now better equipped to utilize technology to cater to diverse student needs, making the learning process more engaging and personalized. This training empowers them to create collaborative learning environments, enhancing lesson delivery and fostering critical thinking among students.”
As a 21st-century school, Glenrich integrates technology into its daily operations. They are using advanced features of MS Teams as a Learning Management System, integrated with One Note for sharing content and for collaborative learning. Teachers have also been incorporating new tools like Flip, to make classroom activities more interactive. The school has shown commendable AI adoption with the efficient use of Microsoft Copilot. Padlet has also been introduced into lessons to make learning more interactive and engaging.
Moreover, Glenrich also conducts workshops for the parents, familiarizing them with the role of Microsoft Teams in education. Earlier in February, Md. Yousup Faruqu, Managing Director of Microsoft Bangladesh, visited Glenrich, taking a tour of the school’s exemplary feats in technology-enabled education.
