Protect ozone layer through eco-friendly air-conditioners and refrigerators

[Dhaka, October 04, 2024] Recently, Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Adviser, Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, has emphasized using environment-friendly air conditioners and non-CFC inhalers to protect the ozone layer in her statement. The government is encouraging people to make informed decsisions about the environment when purchasing home appliances. In regard to this, Samsung has brought multiple types of Residential Air Conditioner (RAC) and Refrigerators (REF) that are designed to minimize environmental impact while delivering excellent performance.
Samsung RAC and REF incorporate technologies that will decrease consumption, waste, and emissions, making them the ideal sustainable choices for consumers, especially, those concerned with the environment. Samsung’s Residential Air Conditioners are equipped with advanced energy-saving features, including a Digital Inverter Compressor that will optimize power consumption without compromising cooling performance. The RACs have environmentally friendly refrigerants that have a low impact on the ozone layer and global warming. A lot of RACs are equipped with smart capabilities that allow customers to monitor and control it via Wi-Fi, which also reduces energy waste.
Samsung refrigerators are designed to decrease energy consumption through features like insulation technology and efficient compressors. The materials that are used to build these refrigerators are carefully selected to decrease environmental impact throughout the appliance’s lifecycle. For example, recycled plastic and environment-friendly gas are utilized in the production process of REFs. Similar to RACs, the refrigerators are also equipped with smart features that enable customers to optimize energy usage and decrease food waste.
